Samlesbury & Cuerdale Parish Council
Samlesbury and Cuerdale Parish Council usually holds it’s meetings on the fourth Thursday of every other month. The AGM when the officers are elected is held in May. The meetings are held at Samlesbury War Memorial Hall at 7.30pm and are open to the public. There is always an item on the agenda when members of the public can raise any issues that concern them.

Welcome to our new looked website, a debt of gratitude has to go out to Jonathan Greenwood and our clerk for bringing it together. The aim of this site is now to keep it more interactive and have a feed back section.
Councillor Yates, John Greaves and I attended a meeting regarding the enterprise zone, the link road and the A677 Preston New road. We had a productive meeting, debating the effects on the local areas and how we could reduce impacts and try to make it as safe as possible for local residents.
The judging for best kept Hamlet is now well under way, I for one feel proud as I drive around the area around the Nabs Head, so nice to see people with such a pride and it is a tribute to all the residents around this area.
Branch road has now repaired, but potholes in the parish are still high on our agenda, please keep reporting these either to the council our one of your parish council and let’s work together the make the roads safe.
Flooding is still on the agenda with the latest report outlining what are the pinch points that could could help keep samlesbury free from flooding in the future.
I look forward to seeing as many as possible at the meeting on the 28 July.
